Stunning Italian vase faceted with columns of rosebuds and vertical cut ribs. The scalloped rim is unique, having both rounded and pointed aspects. This design is known as 'Elena' and was made in the 1960s and 1970s.
This vase was made by Vetreria di Borgonovo, of Borgonovo Glassworks, a glassworks founded in 1950 near Milan in Italy.
This vase stands at about 10" in height and is 6 " wide at the rim.
It is in great condition; no cracks, no chips, no deep scratches.
I hand wash all products and examine them for any flaws such as chips, cracks, or highly noticeable scratches or stains. Any flaws will be disclosed. I consider that vintage items may exhibit a "not brand-new look" and that is a significant part of their beauty.
