Lovely glass egg shaped container by Fostoria for AVON. Diamond cut pattern with scalloped edging - The two sections fit together beautifully. Made for Mother's Day in 1977 by AVON as shown on interior bottom of egg. Measures 4 1/2" L X 3” W X 3 1/2”H. When new it came with a blue egg shaped bar of soap. Today it can be used as a trinket box, jewelry box, candy container, centerpiece, and many more.
Item is in excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks, or deep scratches.
I hand wash all products and examine them for any flaws such as chips, cracks, or highly noticeable scratches or stains. Any flaws will be disclosed. I consider that vintage items may exhibit a "not brand-new look" and that is a significant part of their beauty.
